We will leave Heidelberg by bus at 9:00 on August 11. We will drive to the Castle Neipperg. From the wonderful castle grounds you will be able to follow the solar eclipse accompanied by a buffet with local specialties. After the solar eclipse there will be a wine tasting including local wines as well as wines which come from the areas the path of totality of the solar eclipse has touched. We will leave the castle around 16:00.
Please allow one hour (or more depending on traffic) for the travel back to Heidelberg. From Heidelberg it takes another hour to reach Frankfurt airport. We plan to arrange for the bus that drives you back from Schloss Neipperg to Heidelberg to continue on to Frankfurt airport.
